Puck van de Beek is a Dutch/American film-director, screenplay-writer, executive producer, cinematographer and occasional actor. He began his career as an independent filmmaker whose films used nonlinear storylines and the aestheticization of violence. Before he became popular in the film industry, he made his first feature film Foute Boys with Juan Keeris, which won 'Best Guerilla Film' at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival in 2000.

He collabrated a lot with Juan Keeris, a Dutch-American film producer and director. He would later go on to write and direct the 2004 action/crime/drama film Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas which was a film adaption of the sandbox crime video game of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Although he originally couldn't get the rights for the game, he filmed a scene which will later be used in the film. The game-company later sold out the rights to Van De Beek to direct and write the film. The film was a big succes at the box-office and got most positive reactions. Keeris became executive producer of the film, although he wasn't a lot on the set he attended the film premiere.

In 2005 he wrote and executive produced the remake of the horrorfilm Saw, from which he was a big fan but he dind't had interest into directing it so Keeris directed the film. He later wrote and executive produced the sequel. In 2007 he directed the exploitation action film Grindhouse with Juan Keeris. He also directed a faux trailer back-to-back called No Guns For The Madmen which was used as a faux trailer in the Grindhouse film.

In 2008 he produced another faux trailer based on Grindhouse called The Killing Geek, but for the rest didn't had any involvement with the film.

Van De Beek's current film an suspense crime thriller called Mileage premiered on the Dutch Film Festival and arrived in theaters in March 2011.
